What do I think about this series?

Well I think that the series was welled filmed and the cast did a great job. Everyone acted up to their peak, no one went overboard. Paul Chun character was amazing. (at least to me) I never saw Paul act an evil part before. He did a great job acting a evil role. Paul character's Sheung Hang is the oldest son in the Sheung's family and by the time he rule his family a lot stuff changed. Paul role doesn't really look evil. The stuff he did makes it evil. Most of TVB series.... the evil characters I get annoyed with. In Silver Chamber of Sorrow, Paul characters is more like a memorable character. Sheung Hang would do anything to keep the business going. Paul did a well job acting Sheung Hang. Great Job. I enjoyed watching his part.

Nancy Sit acting in here was great. She truly fit her role. She was one of enjoyable actress to watch and her character is definitely memorable. Nancy character Siu Dip was from a rich family and she was arranged marriage with Paul. Nancy played some evil parts but through out the whole series she play a good role. She almost ruined her daughter's future. I thought that she was actually going to let Charmaine married that dude. I was happy that she woke up and stop the marriage. She had change and try to change things around. Mostly she would be afraid to go against Paul cause she was afraid she would loose her place. She was the one who cared about her place in the Sheung's Family but at the end she was the one that wanted to leave. Nancy did a great job and acted her part very well.

Christine Ng... her character was a bit freaky sometimes. Her character is really complex and she did many evil things. She regret at what she did. Her character changed dramatically. In the beginning she was all nice and doesn't care and once she saw Sheung Wan again.. she changed. After she know that she was trick to married into Sheung Family. She had to do some revenge. Her revenge was mean and evil. Her character was more like ups and downs. After that she became addicted to alcohol. Even Nancy know that Christine is mad at her for getting her into the Sheung Family, Nancy still tried her best in talking to her. This was my first time seen Christine act a evil role. She did a great job and her character is also enjoyable to see.

Shirley and Jack did a great job and they are such a cute couple. It would be even more cute if TVB gave them more onscreen time together. Charmaine Li also did a great job acting as Paul daughter. She actually stands up to her father and that kinda surprise me. She did a great job, the three of them did well.

The whole series was great. This series had so many evil role.. I loved the ending, how Christine and Nancy met up. Also how Christine wished and Charmaine wished had came true. Christine want to leave Sheung Ga and Charmaine wanted to go and see the world. The series started great and ended great.

Who is actually the lead?

Well what I think is that the lead could be Nancy cause it started with her and ended with her. It also talked about how she had save the family from the beginning to the end. It could also be Christine cause everything revolved around her. without her being in their the story won't work. the male lead could be Paul or Ng wai kwok. The story revolved around Paul too.

Well overall this series was well filmed this year in TVB. TVB actually put so much into it. Everyone did a great job even the maids. I kinda like the name Silver Mansion Golden Dust better ^^
