February/March Artists of the Month

Hey guys, sorry for the late Artists of the month post. I had actually forgot about it..lol and I've been busy/lazy updating. Sorry for the lack of updates and definitely I'll try to update more now. Also thanks for the Support in my new blog. ---> boscolieeva's productions. It really mean a lot; spread that around and link me. ^^  Thank you and I love you all!! =D

I kinda didn't really know who to choose for February's/March's Artist of the Month. So, I ended up choosing my all time favorite IDOL in the whole wide world... Bernice Liu!! I don't care about how many news and rumors she has now, I will STILL Support HER forever!!!

Bernice Liu was born on January 6th, 1979. She has two siblings, where Bernice is the Middle Child. Bernice joint Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant due to encouragement/recommendation from friends and that her Major at that time required her to be bilingual. To her surprise, she was the one who won the crown that night. She then attend Miss Chinese International Pageant  representing Vancouver. Bernice once again took home the crown. First she was going to turn down her contract with TVB, but due to supports and encouragement from families and friends she decided to sign with TVB.

Today Bernice is one of TVB Fadans and high pay actress. To get to this point, Bernice never give up and she worked her best to achieve what she is today. Bernice filmed over 20 series with TVB and 8 movies. Bernice also sung over 11 songs. Bernice is thinking about releasing an album and sign into the music industry. I personally doesn't like when artistes sign into the music industry, but no matter what, I'll always support them! So if Bernice ever release her album, I'll definitely buy it. =) Bernice was then cast into her first role in 2001 right after she enter TVB. Her role as Princess Sam-Tin in the Sitcom Virtues of Harmony led to her recognizance. The role eventually gave her the nickname "Princess" among friends, fans, and the media.  Bernice was then cast into many other series,  and continued to work hard and finally achieve to be what she is today. During her two pageants, Bernice had won both the MCI and Miss Vancouver crown. Other than those titles, Bernice had also toke home the Miss Photogenic and Miss Cosmopolitan and Miss Talents awards. Past these years, Bernice has received over 24 awards. In 2007, Bernice was hot favorite to win the Most Improve Actress award hosted by TVB. But Bernice lost the award to Niki Chow.

Even though, there is rumors and news about her right now. I don't really care about those rumors, cause I know its not real. The only way these news are real to me is if the Artistes confirm it themselves. Otherwise they are fake. It doesn't apply only to Bernice but to All Artistes. I don't believe in these Media people. They just need to get something in on time before they get fired so they make things up. =] Well anyways, aside from all these rumors, Bernice still do what shes suppose to do and achieve the best of herself. And I will Always Love HER!! =)

I want to meet her one day! ;)

Artists of the Month

December/January Artists of the Month presents...

Sheren Tang

I know this is like 2 months late. -.- Sorry!! I was busy and lazy to update..lol. Sorry. I have so many reviews to catch up on. I'll get to that very soon.

Sheren joined TVB's acting class in 1985, group 2 and after her graduation, she was debuted in her first series along side with Alex Man as his leading lady. The series was called "The Legend of the General who Never was". After years of hard work, Sheren was cast in "War of Beauty". Her character Yu Fei led her to be the hot favorite for Best Actress in 2004. However she lost that award to Gigi Lai. Instead, Sheren received the Best Supporting Actress for her role. In 2006, her role as Hilda in "La Femme Desperado" gain her to be hot favorite for Best Actress. However she lost that award again, this time to Charmaine Sheh.

However, Sheren doesn't give up and kept going with her amazing acting skills. Working hard to be the very best. In 2009, Sheren was cast in Rosy Business as the 4th wife (Sei Nai Nai). But this time, there was much competition with "Born Rich" and "Beyond the Realm of Conscience". And especially Best Actress was hot favorite with the three leads, Sheren, Tavia Yeung, and Charmaine Sheh. At the end, Sheren finally took home the Best Actress award, which she should of had gotten years back. Rosy Business had done really well and won Best Series in 2009, TVB decided to film a sequel. Sheren was then cast in the sequel "No Regrets"  in 2010. Her character Cheng Gau Mui was once hot favorite to win Best Actress again. Bringing the award home that night was to nobody surprise. This made Sheren the first Hong Kong actress to bring home the Best Actress title for two consecutive  years.

No Doubt, Sheren has lots of potential in her acting and is very skilled. Sheren was the only actress in Hong Kong who had starred in all of her 6 TVB series as the lead actress to reach 40 points mark. 3 of her series had won Best Series. Sheren had won over 44 awards and achievements. She had won the Best Supporting role in 2003 and 2004 and won Best Actress in 2009 and 2010. Sheren was born on March 2nd 1966. Sheren is a very skilled actress and any of the artistes that got to have a chance acting along side with her, should use that opportunity wisely. I will always support Sheren and would love to watch her next TVB series. But her next work will be the New Princess Pearl season I as Empress. I believe that going to be a mainland production? I'm not clearly positive about that. 

Artist of the Month

This month artist of the month, I chose Raymond Lam.

Raymond Lam Fung is born on December 8th 1979. Enter TVB 13th Acting Class in 1998 along side with Tavia Yeung and others. Fung's birth name is Lam Wui Man 林匯文. After graduating from the class, Ray appear on series and talk host shows. But in series he is mostly walk on or background people. In 2000 Ray earned a more screen time and gained more attention after playing supporting roles in A Taste of Love and A Step in the Past. In 2002 Raymond played his first leading role in Eternal Happiness along side with Michelle Yip. Also was nominated for Most Improved Actor for his role in Survival Law. In Survival Law, Fung acted as along side with Sammul Chan, Myolie Wu, and Bernice Liu. Other than acting, Fung also singed on to the singer career in 2007 and had released 4 albums.

Ever since his entrance into the entertainment industry, Fung strive to work his best. Ever since 2002 Fung was nominated each year. Fung had received at least 80 awards. During the TVB Awards night, Fung had received three awards. Most Improved, My Favorite Character for Moonlight Resonance in 2008 and in Twins of Brothers in 2004. This year, Ray is nominated for Best Actor for his role in Mysteries of Love. Best of Luck! Other than that, Ray had filmed 28 series. His recent work is An Uninvited Date and The Colorful of Sister Fa and a mainland production Ad Mania.Good Luck Raymond and I'll be looking forward for your new series. ;] Best of luck to you!!

Artists of the Month...

This month I'll have to combine September and October Artist of the Month. Since I couldn't find any time to update my blog last month due to my busy schedule. Too much stuff to do!! I always hope that there is 48 hours instead of 24! lols. Well anyways, this month I'm thinking on using Charmaine Sheh.

Born on May 28th, 1975, Charmaine Sheh is the leading sister in TVB. Charmaine went on to Miss Hong Kong in 1997 and won the second runner up crown. In 1998 Charmaine sign on to TVB as an actress. In her early stages, Charmaine received many negative rumors on her acting and her squeaky voice. But Charmaine did not break down because of those rumors. Instead she work harder and achieve to be what she is today! Her break through role was Return of the Cuckoo in 2000 along side with Nancy Sit, Julian Cheung, and Steven Ma. After this series, many people praise Charmaine as such an great actress. Nothing can break Charmaine down. Charmaine work as hard as she can. Today she is TVB number 1 leading sister. She work hard to be where she is today. In 2006, Charmaine became the first TVB Actress to win two major awards. Best Actress and My Favorite Female Character TV Awards.

Other than just filming in series, Charmaine also sang some series Theme and Sub theme Songs. She at least had sung 10 theme song for TVB series. Each year, Charmaine will be nominated for an award. Ever since 1997 she had won some awards. From 2000 and onwards, Charmaine at least had won 42 awards. Some were for magazines, TVB, and other TV stations awards. Charmaine Sheh is a talented actress. She had won 42 awards and each year she is nominated!! That is some talent right there. Charmaine had filmed over 7 films and over 38 series. Her recent work was Can't Buy Me Love which had received a very high rating. Her next series are When Heaven Burns, The Colorful World of Sister Fa, Forensic Heroes III, and Female Constables. Charmaine is very talented and I'll show my support for her!! I just started watching the first episode of Can't Buy Me Love. And she did a good job so far. I had probably seen her so many times when I was younger but never knew who she was. Cause I wasn't a big fan of watching Chinese Series and TVB. I don't even understand so it doesn't matter. I've started to become a huge TVB fan was back in 2007. I remember watching Witness to Prosecution II and Perish in the Name of Love and seeing Charmaine in there. I had also saw other series and I still doesn't know her name. It wasn't till I saw Dance of Passion, where I enjoyed watching the series and that was when I knew Charmaine. After wards watching You're Hired bought me a bigger chance in liking Charmaine. I wasn't really a Charmaine fan, I was neutral to her, but after You're Hired, I opened up to her. She is not my favorite like Bernice and Tavia, but she stands somewhere on that list. I can't wait to see When Heaven Burns and I'm quite interest in watching The Colorful World of Sister Fa. I think that series will be interesting. Forensic Heroes I and II is a tradition with Frankie, Bobby, and Yoyo. Forensic Heroes III is a new storyline with Charmaine, I guess I'll take a chance and watch it too.

August Artists of the Month

This month, I want to present Raymond Wong as August Artist of the Month. I personally think that Raymond had improved over the years. Raymond Wong enter the industry by his teacher who notice him and cast him in Lifeline. Ray was born on August 25th 1975. Ever since entering the industry, Ray had filmed over many many series/dramas and movies. Well anyways, I couldn't find much info on him. But I decided to make him Artist of the Month, because of his amazing acting in When Lanes Merge. I didn't finish the series yet, but I had watch parts of it. Skipping here and there, and personally heard so much good Review on Ray's acting. The first time I notice Ray was in Sweetness in Salts. Producer Lee Tim Seng had asked him to be in Sweetness and cast him as the 2nd lead. After watching Sweetness, I remembered seeing him in Marriage of Inconvenience and I was amazed how he had improved so much. In Marriage, I thought he was a bit to stiff, but in Sweetness he had relax and throw all his power and emotion at you. He's acting there already shone out to me, it already had captured my heart. Even though Steven Ma was the lead in Sweetness, I felt like Ray was the lead. Ray is a talented actor and he put so much emotion into acting. In Sweetness the way he acted, it really showed that he is sick for real. He pulled it off nicely. And in When Lanes Merge he did it again. He out shone Kent Cheng and many other actors. Playing as the lead in When Lanes Merge he did an excellent job. When he enter TVB, he had left TVB. He was never given the leading roles or the 2nd leading roles. But ever since his return. his acting had gotten better and better. Now he is leading and his power shone through the tv screen. I enjoy watching him and he is quite handsome. xD His next series are Can't Buy Me Love, Twilight Investigation, and Righteous  Sea of Heroic Love. I'll be looking forward to his new series and support him. Hope he can win something this year. ;] And now I'm gonna go back and finish GW and WLM.

July's Artist of the Month...

It's July again, and the artist of the month is Kara Hui Ying Hung.

This month Artist's of the Month I chose Kara Hui. A reason why I chose her was because she is an amazing actor. I love the way that she had acted, in all the series I saw her in. She is just amazing. Her acting is real and never disappoint. She knows what emotions and how to show it. Especially she did great in A Fistful of Stances. I love her emotions!! Especially her character is not evil but she can portray that evilness in her. Her eyes and that smirk from her mouth. It was great, it was so good. Not that much actress can give out those amazing evilness. I know Tavia can =D aahaha. Also the part when her son was in jail and her two daughters left home. The family was falling apart. Her sad, heart broken emotion was amazing, way better than the evilness. She sat on the staircase trying to convince her daughter to stay. She went back and forth to her daughters and Dominic, with no sound coming out. But her face gave out so much sound, so much words came from that face. It was so good and she is just amazing. Kara even won twice this year from Hong Kong movie awards. She is just great.   She will have my support =D

June Artist's of the Month

June's Artist of the Month goes to...

Natalie Tong!!

Natalie Tong born on May 3rd, 1981 and is today TVB's Actress. Natalie is actually a model before she joined acting.  Natalie real name is actually Tong Sze Ying and not Tong Sze Wing. The Chinese character for 'sze' is a different writing. Natalie started out as a model before she step into the acting field. Acting and Modeling has two different feel to it and its very different. Every step she took in becoming an actress was memorable for her. It's been her 10 year in the acting industry and she is taking each step slowly and each step is memorable for her. Natalie work hard to be where she is today. Before getting a 2nd leading role, Natalie was just a supporting character and doesn't get much recognition. But today, Natalie had shoot up and pretty soon, she'll be leading her very own series.

Being in the industry for 10 years, Natalie is improving each and every day. She work so hard to be where she is today and will not give up. Natalie had filmed over 6 movies and over 23 series. Natalie enter the industry in the year of 2000, and on 2003 Natalie was placed in her very first series "Heart of Fencing". Ever since then, Natalie had been striving for the best and taking step by step. Natalie is slowly getting promoted. As each year and each series she filmed in, her screen time gets longer and longer. As her acting career progresses each year, Natalie is placed as the 2nd lead. I believe that Natalie will soon be leading her own series. Natalie had been nominated many times for Most Improved Actress and Supporting Actress. Which she was unlucky each time. Even though she was nominated almost every year and was unlucky with it, Natalie didn't give up. She tried her best and do her best to win the award. Natalie has stated as a hard working girl and has a great attitude. Many colleagues praise her each time saying she had improve.

I believe Natalie had improve too, each time I see her on screen. The first series I notice Natalie was in Love Bond. Ever since then, I start to like Natalie. Natalie has a great attitude and have a very bubbly personality. She would always be smiling no matter what. She always makes people around her happy and never let herself or anyone down. Natalie has a very adorable and cute feature. She has a very youthful look and she still has that baby face. Natalie has a beautiful smile and she is photogenic. Ever since her recent series A Fistful Of Stances, Natalie has gotten many recognition. Natalie did an amazing job in Fistful and its time for her to shine. I believe in Natalie and I can see that her time to shine is coming now. She had already out shown and performed her best as one of the female lead in Fistful. Natalie did improved so much and her role in Fistful is very different from her other roles in the past. This had been her break thorough. I support Natalie and I know that Natalie will excel even more in the Future. It's time for Natalie's recognition and hope that she can win a award this year for her greatly portrayed role in Fistful as Ying Ngan Ming. 

April's Artists of the Month

This month I want to feature Wayne Lai.

I find that Wayne has some character in him. Has many potential and talented. Wayne Lai always started out as a Kelefe and supporting roles. I thought that TVB had wasted a talent. But to my surprise a kelefe/supporting role guy shoot up to a male lead. And Winning the Best Actor in 2009. Congrats to Wayne Lai. TVB did not waste a talented.. they just saved him for last..hahas xD

I think that Wayne just got lucky. His first leading role was Pages of Treasure along side with Sonjia Kwok. Wayne Lai actually enter TVB has a clerk in the sales department in 1983. By 1985 he gave up that position and enter TVB's acting class. In 1989, Wayne starred in many series. Starting off with minor roles, supporting roles, bystanders and kelefes. Staying around in TVB for some times. Wayne left TVB and enter the movie industry. After awhile, Wayne starred in two ATV's series and back with TVB again. Wayne Lai is married and have a son. Wayne has many potential and played many different types of roles. Which all his roles are liked by many Hong Kong viewers. Starting in the Movie Industry in 1997 and had filmed over 21 movies. The most recent movies that is out now is 72 Tenants of Prosperity and Just Another Pandora's Box.  Wayne's very first series was in 1987 and had filmed over 50 t.v. series. 

 I had never knew his name, but had seen him around. He would just be those background people. The kelefes and playing supporting roles. but I Loved Him as Chu Ba Gai in Journey to the West. One funny pig xD Did a great job! I think when I first really know who he is was, when I saw Gentle Crackdown I and know his name in Steps. Like I had said, Wayne is really talented and fnally that time that TVB promote him. Wayne does has many potential and I was just amazed that he jump up so fast. There was this big gap, a huge jump. But I'm satisfied with this jump and actually glad that he finally has the chance to shine through. In 2009, Wayne's major leading role as the male lead is in the hit series Rosy Business. His character Chai Gau was a big hit, which had led him to his best actor award. Aside of Best Actor award, he also received the award for my favorite character and an award for most popular TVB.com Artist in 2009. 2008 he received the best supporting award for his role in Gentle Crackdown II. Rosy Business was a big hit due to his amazing performance and the rest of the cast performance. To make a series a success, even though with a crappy storyline, all you need is an amazing lead.

Rosy Business II will be release really soon. I'm supporting this series and hope for another best performance by Wayne. I support Wayne and knows that he'll do his best no matter if its a leading role or a supporting role. Wayne's evil role in The Greatness of a Hero was spontaneous. You can feel the evilness in him and almost made me hate his character. It was a job well done. Splendid job. Most recent series he is working on right now would be Rosy Business II: Righteous Sea of Heroic Love. I will be looking forward to that!

Artist of the Month

I know March is almost over and I am putting this up now. Sorry, I was busy like I said before on my other post. I couldn't find much information of Sharon, therefore this post would not be (that) long, like my other Artist's of the Month posts. Next month, I'll have the poll up again for all of you to vote for the April's artists of the month. But I get the final say =P but don't worry, it'll be satisfying.

March's Artists of the Month goes to Sharon Chan

Sharon Chan born on January 17th, 1979 and is TVB's Fa Dan. Sharon is currently 31 and her favorite cartoon character is Winnie The Pooh.. hahaha.. just like me xD. Sharon started out in 1994 as a model and still a model today. Well maybe not a full time model, but still poses for pictures and doing walks/shows just like other artistes. How did Sharon became TVB's Fa Dan today? Many artistes took the path to participate in Miss Hong Kong or graduated from TVB's acting class. Unlike other artistes, Sharon did not participate in any of those things. But I'm pretty sure if Sharon participated in Miss Hong Kong, she definitely will make it in to the top 3! Before Sharon was an actress, Sharon was actually a model started in the year of 1994, but during her modeling career, acting career was suggested to her. So Sharon took up the challenge and became an actress. Slowly rising and became TVB's Fa Dan. But Sharon dreamed/really wanted to become a singer during her career as a model. But instead of becoming a singer she became an actress.

Sharon had filmed many series and was nominated almost every year. I can see the potential in Sharon, she really deserve to win an award but was unlucky every year. I hope this year, she can finally bring something home! Each time I see Sharon in a series, I can see that she improved a lot. Sharon really have the potential to lead a series and yup she finally got her chance to lead in The Beauty of The Game along side with Christine Ng and Kate Tsui. Sharon was mostly nominated for Most Improved Actress and Best Supporting Actress. But in 2007 Sharon was nominated for both Best Actress (top 20) and Most Improved Actress. For her roles in Devil Disciples and World Twisters Adventures. Most of her nominations are in the rank of top 10 and top 5. Sharon really have the potential. Most of the time I see Sharon as an host. Sharon is dedicated to her work and tried her very best to become what she is today. Most series I see Sharon in, she is mostly bipolar. She has two faces/sides, and I like that. She can portray the very nice side and the very mean side really well. I'm bias myself too.. cause I only like certain artistes that can portray the evilness and doesn't get disappointed and doesn't hate the character.

Having and wanting the dream of becoming a singer but didn't get that faith. Sharon didn't give up and worked her best into acting. Even though she didn't get the chance to become a singer, Sharon did sang songs for TVB's Themes. So far I had heard two songs from Sharon and her voice is quite nice. But I really don't like the idea how many actresses are going into the music industry, so I rather have Sharon to continue her acting career and don't get into the music industry. But if Sharon one day really wants too, I'll support her. One of her song is called Love Steps (逐格重播), the theme song for At Home With Love and also in the 'Lady in Red CD'. The other song she sang was one of The Glittering Days sub theme, called The Circle Game.

Nevertheless, Sharon really do have the potential in acting. Hoping one day I can see her acting as the First Lead in a series and hearing more TVB Themes songs from her. Sharon has a stunning body, beautiful face and a very pretty smile. Really does fit for being a model. But her sweet personality and a sweet smile also made it perfect to becoming an actress. Every pictures I see, Sharon really stands out. Sharon is photogenic, she would really bring an award home if she participated in MHK. Sharon is gorgeous, another beauty in TVB. I have faith in her and definitely will support Sharon! Keep up the great work and definitely she'll be leading very soon. TVB is promoting her these recent year, with quite a lot of her series released and going to be release. Sharon was really lucky to be placed in Born Rich. She can really steal some acting tips from Veterans and past TVB's Fa Dans, like Anita Yeun, Kenix Kwok, and Jamie Chik. All I have to say now is keep it up and I'll always support you!!

I really think that she look really good in all her pictures. She is really photogenic. Anyone agree or I'm the only one? =P

Artist of the Month

Artist of the Month goes to....

Kenneth Ma, Ma Kwok Ming!!


Kenneth Ma born on February 13 1974 is a graduate of TVB's 14th Acting Class in 1999. Is today's TVB Siu Sang. Graduating from Delia International School and Douglas College in Vancouver and University of British Columbia. Majoring in Mechanical Engineering. After his studies, Kenneth went back to Hong Kong and enter TVB's 14th acting class. After his class in 1999, Kenneth started to appear in cameo roles and supporting. But after awhile TVB had started to promote Kenneth and started to have more supporting roles. In 2006 TVB's 39th anniversary, Kenneth received his first award. Getting an award for "Most Improvement Actor". His popularity and promotion shot up. TVB gave Kenneth his first leading role in 2007 for the series Survival Laws II. With that series, it had lead Kenneth popularity to shoot up again. Receiving a 31 peak rating in the 2nd half of its broadcast. In Kenneth 10 years in TVB, he had filmed over 60 series. Ever since leading in Survival Law II.. Kenneth started to lead in many other series.

Kenneth is a really hardworking guy. Quiet and tried his best. Even on his off days, Kenneth would go to the studio and watch others film. He would watch other film to learn more from them. Kenneth never stop working.. he tried and keep on trying. With all the effort and hard work he put in, it lead to where Kenneth is today as TVB's Fa Dan and leading in series. Kenneth receives many praises from everyone around him. They all praise him as hardworking, clever, and a good boy. Kenneth is filial to his mother, and everyone who is older than him. Final said, Kenneth is a hardworking and a great boy.

Improvements every time I see him on TV. Kenneth had filmed many series that I had watch when I was younger. But I didn't notice him until Lost in the Chamber of Love. Well I did have a small notice in The Triumph in the Sky, but in Chamber its when he starts to shine out to me. Also after seeing him leading in Into the Thin Air along side with Michael Miu, Melissa Ng, and Bernice Liu. With an amazing chemistry with Bernice that is when he captures my heart. Kenneth really improves every time. Kenneth has really great chemistry with everyone. His acting is really natural and he is very special. That what make us all love Ma Ming. Kenneth brings great attitudes to work and is very diligent. Place in top 5 for TVB Awards the past 3 years and was surprisingly the only male from Born Rich to be nominated in to the top 5 at 2009 awards. That means that he did a great job in Born Rich ;] Ma Ming had sung some theme songs and its just shooting up each time. Kenneth also has an awesome characteristics and humor. Everyone around him loves him and have many friends in the entertainment circle. With his new series Mystery of Love coming out, I'll definitely support Kenneth all the way. And can't wait for his chemistry with Bernice again =]

Artist of the Month

I'm sorry for posting this really late. I didn't intend to post it up late, but each day is just going by and I'm busy. I'm sorry. Remember that Artistes of the Month can be anyone. From Veteran actors, Retired actors, supporting, fa dans and siu sang and to newcomers. Anyone can be selected. Last month I had all of you vote for this months artist. And I had chose who I want to present. Graduate of TVB's 13th acting class.....

Tavia Yeung. Yeung Yi!!!


Tavia born on August 30th in 1979. Graduated from TVB 13th acting class in 1998 is today's TVB fa dan. Graduating along side with TVB siu sang Raymond Lam and Raymond Wong. Having graduated from TVB. Tavia started off her career with many cameo role. Tavia portrayed as Maggie Chueng little sister in "When Dreams Come True" (starring Liza Wang) as ah Yan. Which Tavia really reassemble Maggie. Each year, Tavia tried her best and Improved a lot. In 2003 she finally got the most improvement award starring as Kelly in Vigilante Force. From then on Tavia would work hard and she finally got where she is today. After many different roles, Tavia was chosen to lead in "Twins of Brother" with Raymond Lam and Ron Ng. And also in 2006 Tavia lead in "The Academy" along side with Ron Ng. With many supports and achievements, Tavia stand where she is today being TVB's Fa Dan.


I first notice Tavia in The Academy. Where I thought her acting was good. The love chemistry with Ron bought me in being a TaRo fan. I did see Golden Faith as a child and remember her role as Kiki.. but then I didn't know who she was. In 2007 Tavia received an award as Best Actress by sina.com. Improvement kept on showing and I loved Tavia in Moonlight Resonance. Where I thought she portrayed her role well. Her crying scenes are amazing. Where you can feel her pain and tears. 2008 Tavia received an award for Best Supporting Actress. In 2009, Tavia's breakthrough role as a villain in Beyond the Realm of Conscience, bought her more praise and applaud from the audience. Tavia was nominated for Best Actress for her role as Yiu kam Ling. Which I thought Tavia did job well done. Which she was hot favoured to win along side veteran actress Sheren Tang and TVB's leading lady Charmaine Sheh. Which she lost the award to Sheren Tang, Tavia manage in winning two awards. Winning the Favorite Female Character and Best Performance of The Year, Tavia had already done her best in 2009. Now in 2010, Tavia going shoot up again and tried her best. Each year watching Tavia on screen, I have the same feeling, which she is improving.

2010 Tavia another series being release soon, I can't wait and anticipating for it. Leading in Mysteries of Love along side with Raymond Lam, Bernice Liu and Kenneth Ma. That series will definitely be a success, don't forget The Stars of Love along side with Steven Ma. I will always support you Tavia!! Keep on trying best and very soon, she'll be TVB leading Lady!! Tavia really do have potential. Support from me!!! One of My favorite Actress =D

Artistes of the Month

Starting today, December 1st - since its a new month. I'm going to start picking any random Artistes from TVB. I'll post an write up about them and they'll be this month foreverloveTVB Artistes of the Month. (but there will be a reason why this certain artistes was selected) The selection would be out of random. It can be a Veteran Artistes, retired artistes, newcomers, supporting artistes, Fa Dans, Siu Sangs..anyone can be selected. For this month I chose Fala Chen, cause one her write up was already written last month and I felt that she really had improved!!

Fala Chen born on February 24, 1982 in Chengdu, China but grew up in the U.S. Immigrating at age 15 and living in the United States, also adjusting into a new style, had made Fala independent and hardworking. Fala had attend Emory University in United States, which she major in Marketing and International Business. During her freshmen year in college, Fala participated in a beauty pageant. The reason why she had join and participate in it was to pay for her College tuition. Winning the Crown for Georgia, Fala participated in Miss Asian America representing Georgia and took the crown in 2002. Afterwards Fala participated in Miss Chinatown USA [Miss Chinese Chamber of Commerce] in 2003 and was first runner up. After getting the first runner up in 2003, Fala took home the crown again in 2004 Miss Chinese NY. Representing New York, Fala went to Hong Kong and participated in Miss Chinese International in 2005 and won first runner up. With her beauty, smile, and beautiful figure, Fala bought home her crowns and awards. Returning to U.S and finished her degree in Marketing and International Business, earning her BA degree. Fala return back to Hong Kong and enter TVB.

Fala's first series was Forensic Heroes in 2006. As Fala fluent language was mandarin, her first series in speaking Cantonese was not strong. With and heavy accent, Fala still didn't give up and continue to work hard. Fala had improve in both of her acting and Cantonese dialect. In 2007 she was cast in Heart of Greed as a sweet innocent girl. But her major role in 2007 was when she was cast in Steps as a semi villain. Due to her character Carmen in Steps, many people criticise and hates toward her. But in 2008, Fala came back with an excellent role in Moonlight Resonance, as an mute girl Gam Wing Hing. Her character in Moonlight showed the sweet and adorable, innocent side of Fala. This had brought many people in liking Fala and changed their views on her. With this role, it had put Fala in the top 5 of best supporting actress. Which she had won in 2007 for her character Carmen in Steps. For entertaining in the industry for 4 years, Fala had really improved a lot and had filmed over 10 TV series.

Fala is improving everyday and a very hard worker. Fala didn't enter the industry because she wanted Fame, is was because she enjoys acting. Fala is not one of those "bratty" actress that only cares about glory and the fortune, but a very sweet, gentle, caring actress that works hard to be where she is today. Even Veteran Actress Lee Si Kei praised her being a hardworking and asks many questions that she doesn't understand. With her beautiful face, sweet smile and a stunning figure, Fala also take parts in shooting ads and photos. Also taking parts in functions and promotion events. TVB had Fala to participate in Laughing Gor's movie "Turning Point" as Michael Tse's girlfriend had bought her another promotion. Recently Fala had just released her new series The Stew of Life. With the new series airing, the theme song was also released. In which the theme song is by Fala. Fala sang her first TVB theme song.

As Fala is slowing getting promoted, one step at a time. She had improve each time. Fala's dialect in Cantonese had improved over the years and you couldn't really hear any accent in her new song Perfect Pair (The Stew of Life theme). Her accent in Turning Point wasn't as heavy and is understandable. All I have to say is that Fala Chen had really improved over the years. The first time I notice her was in Heart of Greed and didn't know exactly who she was. After I saw Steps, that is when I knew that is Fala Chen. I start to like her when watching Moonlight Resonance and saw through her. I can see that Fala Chen would be leading a series soon and become the leading lady. Fala had already sang her 1st theme song, very soon she'll be leading. I have faith in her and would support Fala.
