2012 Favorite Theme Songs

So far my favorite theme songs of 2012!!

"Serial Drama" by Joey Yung

This song is really powerful; Joey sang this song with so much power!! Usually, I would have to listen to the opening theme couples time for me to like it. But from the first episode, this song had already driven me into it!! I think that the lyrics fit really well for the series and fit for each scene. Also I think that the lyrics really fit perfectly for Yat Kin and Ji Yu.

"Flawed Beauty" by Fala Chen

I enjoy the chorus part the best!

"Young Ignorance" by Bowie Lam, Moses Chan & Kenny Wong

Really nice song!!

"A Tale of a Wounded City" by Linda Chung and Ron Ng

Actually it's nice when you hear it couple of times.

"Dawn Blossoms Picked at Dusk" by Teresa Cheung

This is another very powerful song!!

foreverloveTVB's awards...

Starting this year, I'm going to start a 'foreverloveTVB's Awards.'

Info about it:
  • It will be after TVB's award ceremony.
  • It will consist of: Best Actor and Actress, Most improve, Favorite Character, Best Couple, Best Series, Best themesong, and Best Supporting oh and Best Dress to TVB's award ceremony (both male and female).
  • It will be my 100% thoughts - that mean I will not be bias to any artistes.
  • Each will have a top 5 and I'll chose from those five.
I think this will be quite interesting!! I'm still going to do yearly overviews and TVB award predictions and comments. Oh and I know that I would be skipping some series, I'll probably list them as 'skipped', but I'll try to watch most of the series!!

*sigh* Let see how well this would go! :P

On Call 36 themesong [lyrics]

Here are the pinyin lyrics...enjoy!! ^^

歌詞:連續劇 - TVB電視劇《On Call 36小時》主題曲
主唱:容祖兒

Lyrics to: 連續劇 - TVB drama 'The Hippocratic Crush' Theme Song
By: Joey Yung

作曲:鄧智偉

開首的一篇是某某出生
hoi sau dik yut peen see mau mau choot sung
媽媽給寶寶奉上這一生 頭一吻
ma ma kup bo bo foong seung jeh yut sung tau yut mun
開端之後或晴或暗
hoi doon jee hau waak ching waak ngum
怎麼走就像連續劇 也 欠缺安穩
jum moh jau jau jeung leen jook kek ya heem koot ngon wun

或者 於某集我可抬頭欣賞到你
wak jeh yoo mau jaap ngoh hoh toi tau yun seung do nei
或者 一轉念便要失去你
wak jeh yut joon neem been yiu sut hooi nei
或者 轉折漸太多 遺忘怎擁抱你
wak jeh joon jeet jeem tai doh wai mong jum yoong po nei
或者 擁緊偏已斷氣
wak jeh yoong gun peen yee doon hei

情人們一呼一吸相愛到底 結局或同樣
ching yun moon yut foo yut kup seung ngoi do dai geet gook wak toong yeung
仍想將你我這幕 演得更理想
ying seung jeung nei ngoh je mok yeen duk gung lei seung
能修補即管修補 不要再想 再一刻人便缺氧
nung sau bo jik goon sau bo but yiu joy seung hoy yut huk yun been koot yeung
熟悉的歌曲 等與你合唱
suk sik dik goh cook dung yoo nei hup cheung

新一章怎可是你我分開
sun yut jeung jum hoh see nei ngoh fun hoi
可否改寫得像你我當初還相愛
hoh fau goi seh dut jeung nei ngoh dong choh waan seung ngoi
只可惜上集難逆轉
jee hoh sik seung jaap naan yik joon
傷感的下集仍然未播 我會修改
seung gum dik ha jaap ying yeen mei boh ngoh wooi sau goi

如果 當晚沒有分神來緊張佈置
yoo gwoh dong maan moot yau fun sun loi gun jeung bo jee
如果 不必誤會再猜疑
yoo gwoh but been mm wooi joy chaii yee
如果 將對白說得平和 不加諷刺
yoo gwoh jeung dooi bak shoot dut ping woh but gah foong chee
如果 真的可有下次
yoo gwoh jun dik hoh yau hah chee

情人們一呼一吸相愛到底 結局或同樣
ching yun moon yut foo yut kup seung ngoi do dai geet gook wak tung yeung
仍然能拖緊彼此 走絕地雪霜
ying yeen nung toh gun bei chee jau joot dei shoot sheung
如能重修好一雙 不要再想 再一刻人便缺氧
yoo nung choong sau ho yut seung but yiu joy seung joy yut huk yun been koot yeung
明知可一起 不要再獨唱
ming jee hoh yut hei but yiu joy dook cheung

情人們一呼一吸相愛到底 結局或同樣
ching yun moon yut foo yut kup seung ngoi do dai geek gook wak tung yeung
仍想將你我這幕 演得更理想
ying seung jurng nei ngoh jeh mok yeen dut gung lei seung
如能重修好一雙 不要再想 再一刻誰亦要退下場
yoo nung choong sau ho yut seung but yiu joy seung joy yut huk shooi yik yiu tooi ha cheung
多得你在場 多得我在場 天空也在場
doh dut nei joy cheung doh dut ngoh joy cheung teen hong ya joy cheung
演好這一章 呼吸太無常

News Update: Yat Kin Tau's Love Declaration Surpasses 200,000 Hits

Credit chasingstars3 for the screencaps

Article

"In the 24th episode of "The Hippocratic Crush", Yat Kin Tau (Kenneth Ma), 'hijacked' doctor colleagues Tong Yuen and Wing's wedding by pulling Yue Jai (Tavia Yeung) on stage to propose. The scene was romantic and intense. This 'Love Declaration' scene received praises from netizens, and has surpassed 200,000 hits on YouTube within a few days.

Yat Kin Tau told Yue Jai that the wedding vows must be acted on. He said, "When young, beautiful and healthy, so certainly love. However, when the other gradually ages, old and defeated, has more and more illnesses, and even watching the other die of old age...so, no longer love then? Since, in the future, will not abandon each other...now should be the same. If just because the other has an illness and not love, then it's not true love. [No one knows one's life span.] Even we, as doctors, cannot guarantee that we'll live to a hundred. Thus, there is no guarantee of growing old together in marriage vows, but must guarantee that, whether in sickness or in health, must be together". Some netizens praised Kenneth's performance as being sincere and natural...still touched after re-watching it."

The Hippocratic Crush [thoughts]

The finale is finally airing tomorrow (I guess it depends which part of the world you are in), Friday, 3/1612. After many anticipating moments and trying to find spoilers for the next episode; the last episode will be broadcast tomorrow and THC will be over!! I am definitely going to miss this serie. I got to say this serial is really one of the best serial TVB had made in such a long time! The script, the monologue, and the dialogue from each character were written beautifully and each character performed it beautifully. Each of the dialogue had taught us meaningful life lessons! It is just beautifully delivered!!

The two main lead definitely had shine throughout the whole serial. It was another breakthrough role for them!! I especially love how Tavia's letter to Kenneth wraps up each character and the episode nicely. It just adds another nice touch to the show.

I just want to make a little post on episode 24 and I'll be back after I'm finish with the serie.

The very end of episode 24 was very touching. I can't help it but cried along. I actually cried the whole episode 24. Episode 24 as a whole was actually really touching. The family members just want to be happy for Yu Jai. When Yu Jai reveal her tumor to her colleagues, my tear just kept coming. At the very end of the episode, Yat Kin declare his love along with a proposal to Yu Jai made me cried even more. It was very touching, sweet, and heartwarming!! (some of you probably don't agree but I guess I just cried too easily).

Random

I just want to make a quick post on this drawing that I came upon on tumblr. It's by Chibird and her tumblr have so many of these little drawing and quotes. Or it can be a expression and statement. I think her tumblr and drawings are really inspirational.

I really think that this quote and the picture is really inspireing. Okay, yes, we might heard this quote many times. But for some reason when I saw this quote with this picture, it just shooked me. I was like, this is so true and it will modivate me with my studies. (I hope..lol) Maybe it was because I'm pretty stressed out this semester with all the classes and figuring out what classes to take next. I know you guys are probably thinking, you have a lot of work to do. But you still blog, go on tumblr, and watch HC. Well, yes, I admit..I kinda slacking off and putting everything in the last minute.

But anyways, if you think you can't do something. Don't believe that you really can't do it!! Just say this instead.."I can't do or understand this Yet." Put an 'yet' behind it. Cause you will eventually be able to accomplish it!! I am all stress out with Chem and that is what My professor had told us. She keep telling us to put a 'yet' behind it and do not take the word 'I can't do it' as a stop sign. "Don't give up, it'll all be worth it in the end." can be simple in many ways. Like school work, just don't give up and work hard. It'll be worth it at the end. And especially with life! To climb up that mountain like that picture can symbolize life. There will be many ups and downs in your life. And No Matter what do not let that drag you down. Keep on moving forward and you will reach the top. Work hard now in school and it will bring you to a bright success in the future. =)

Thoughts So Far..[The Hippocratic Crush]

  • At first when TVB announced that HP will be filmed, I was just like what ever. I didn't care about it. I was still in that state of disappointment with TVB.
  • There was really nothing to watch so I decided to watch episode one. Episode one had left me with an face of =O Verbally it had left me with a 'wow.' Am I watching TVB or am I watching something else? I really think that this series will be promising and I hope it will continue to do this well.
  • After episode one I can't wait till the next episode. Now I finish with episode 15 and I want the next episodes!!
  • I don't think I can clearly describe my feelings and thoughts for HP just yet because we are not done watching.
  • It's 15 episodes in and we still do not have the love relationship with Kenneth and Tavia yet!! Grrr...I'm pretty sure this is what keeping us so anticipated.
  • I really have to give Kudos to Him Law!! He is just too Adorbs and ughhh why is he so cute!!! I love how he admit his feelings to Tavia, but too bad it was at the wrong time!! Tavia doesn't like Him and only thought of him as a younger brother. Even after getting rejected, Him still stick around Tavia and helping her to pursue Kenneth. I thought that was really cute. Every time he always gives in to Tavia and after each time he will get all upset, but he does it all over again.  Ahhh...he is so adorable!! Is there even this kind of guy exists in the real world now a days?
  • In the very first few episodes, there were so many misunderstandings. They all thought that Yat Kin Tou like to suck up to his mentor (which is Tavia's father), like helping the rich, and like to get fame. He works so hard because of many things that had happen in the past. What had happen in the past had shaped him into what he is today. Slowly as each episodes passes, each misunderstanding were cleared. We all find out what was the reason why he became a doctor and why he had chose to become a Neurosurgeon Specialist. The cause of his brothers being paralyzed from the waist down was because of the naive young Yat Kin. He was the one who had caused his brother disability and that made him to become a doctor. He also took this route to become a Neurosurgeon was because his mentor was the one who had Saved his family. In the beginning, all Yat Kin thought about was to help save and cure the patient. He didn't think about the consequences and did not follow the rules. Which later had got him suspended for doing surgery for half the year. This had cause all his friends and family worried about him. But Yat Kin just pulled it off like nothing. After doing Clinical work, this is when he realize what really the meaning of becoming a doctor. Yat Kin finally had learned a valuable lesson and developed the love for all his patients. Btw, I think the wardrobe did a nice job on him ;]
  • I really like Tavia in HP. She is one of those strong, sophisticated, powerful woman. Where she doesn't need help from anyone. I really like her wardrobe as well. It really fits her and she is definitely really gorgeous in the show. And the best of all she look really really professorial. I really think she pulls of her doctor role really well.
  • Next..ughh. I had ship Tavia and Kenneth from the first episode and I will continue to ship them to the very end. They are so compatible together and are So Adorable together!! Too Cute xD I can't wait till they finally get together.
  • The scene where they had dinner together was really embarrassing!! The first thing pop into my head was awkward... I had to pause the video and let myself breath first!! LOL. I really admire her bravery. She really had so much courage to admit her feelings to him and but she got rejected. I am still thinking about that scene for couples of days already, and it is still playing in my head. I really can't believe how embarrassing it was. I felt the embarrassment and the awkwardness for them. But I got to give Kudos to Tavia to bravely admit her feelings like that. And Double Kudos for both of their pointless and awkward expressions. The both of them really did really well in that scene. They had give off that awkward and embarrassed and like dot dot dot face all under 60 seconds. Especially Tavia, she had went from happy to really happy, to kiddie happy, to dot dot dot, to what-I-just-did face all at once. But of course I LOLED at them!! I really like that scene =] Its so funny..lol.
  • Next another points added for such an amazing theme song. The theme song is SO good and just add another reason to watch the series!!
  • Oh and I like how Kenneth just so naturally pulls Tavia behind him during a scary situation. Once at the hospital with that grandpa and second at her Friends house with that crazy husband.
Well I guess this is it bye.

L'Escargot - Review

I don't even know what to say about this series -.- I'm just going to make a list of what I think so far and some other stuffs.

  • Okay, at first, I thought this series will be promising. I started watching because of that and because Michael Miu and Sonija Kwok is in it. And of course Ron =)
  • I thought the first couple eps were nicely portrayed. -The housing used were realistic and it revolved around a daily bases family life.
  • But then I got disappointed...and I left it at that. Don't remember what episode I was on. But I'm going to finish it.
  • I really like Lam Lam, Sonija and Miu's daughter. She is really superb at crying and she is just talented. Reminded me of little Tiffany and Jenny.
  • I wanted to slap Mandy SO Badly when she appeared. I was So annoy with her character. Who do you think you are? Just because you're pregnant and carrying a boy, doesn't mean you can go around and screw people over. And especially they were her family members. -_- She had taken so much advantage from Dai Lo On and we didn't even hear a Thank You.
  • Finally she got Slap =) That was the slap everyone was waiting for and became the Epic Slap!! Well, for us to hate her character so much; we really need to give kudos to Mandy. She really did an amazing job with her character!!
  • Next, I find Dai Ding and Ka Lok is the cutest thing. They were like the perfect, cute, adorable couple in the series. They were sweet and funny and you can see how much they had loved each other. But too bad..things came between them....
  • I really find Ka Lok really simple-minded and I really don't know what is going on in her head. I'm an so serious. How can she let go a perfect boyfriend!! You said that you have to repay Ko Wang Jim because he owes you too much. So you repay him by getting in bed with him... -.- does that make any sense? You have to ruin a very nice relationship..you just have to let go a wonderful guy. Jim is married!! Wake up and he had Never asked you to Repay Him. I seriously don't know what she is thinking. Gahhh....it made me so mad and heartbroken to watch the break-up scene. But I do have to give kudos to Linda for a great scene. And a Bigger Kudos to Ron for his Crying scene =)
  • So the next person I wanted to slap was Ka Lok. But Dai Lo already did it. I can feel the tension and everything. Great scene. The next person I want to slap is Dai Lo On!! I'm not sure if he get slap by someone yet. Omgosh..he annoys me so much. I don't know why Sonija married him! Yes, okay we know that you like your family. You put them first but did you ever thought about your wife's feelings? No, you give away your money once after another like you're a bank. Those money was suppose for you to keep and saved for a house. But the worse part was you threw your 30 million to Jim. *sigh*  I don't know what goes in his head too.
  • Finally I want to punch Jim. You're marry dude!!! Ughh..so disgusting and just ehh. Oh and I'm not sure if that was a mole on his face or was just for this show. It's really annoying -.-
Basically I just want to get some point of thoughts out. I'll be back when I finish watching I guess.
