Chan Hung Lit

1943-2009

As many of you might have known.. that recently one of TVB Veteran Actor Chan Hung Lit had passed away just couple days ago. 66 years old. I will definitely miss him. I remember seeing him in many series but I realized him in Gem Of Life. I love the way he spoke in Cantonese.. you can hear a bit of Shanghai in it. (well to me) I will miss his Cantonese and will miss him. R.I.P

Experienced actor Chan Hung Lit (陳鴻烈) was a former Shaw actor. He joined TVB and played in many series like "Blade Heart", "The Dance of Passion" and recently as "Dai Yim Shan" in "Off Pedder". Around 4:30pm on November 24, 2009, Chan complained of a sudden chest pain in TVB's dressing room. Although hospitalized immediately, unfortunately, he was certified dead at 7:11pm the same day after 2 hour of rescue, aged 66 years old.

TVB executive Virginia Lok announced the death of Chan 15 minutes after he was certified. Around 6pm during the rescue, many TVB artistes went to the hospital to visit, including Charmaine Sheh, "Off Pedder" actors Stephen Au and Florence Kwok.
